Jody and the Auto Lass team at Woodend MOT Centre & MNJ Autocare are passionate about classic cars and fundraising for charitable causes, both nationally and locally. Jody’s innovative approach to everything she does has found a way to combine both these passions.

Project 3 – 2025 – Vauxhall Calibra

Project 1 – 2022 – Igor

Chosen charity:

Amount raised: £3,300

Classic car: a Morris Ital we named Igor

Huge thanks to Sarah Crabtree (Bangers & Cash) for her unfailing support throughout this project. We restored Igor to his former glory and raffled him to raise that incredible amount for The UK Sepsis Trust.

OTHER FUNDRAISING EVENTS

18^th May 2024 – supporting Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, Oldham

Biker meet at our workshops, with Special Guest, Frank Rothwell. Frank owns Oldham Athletic football club and, in 2021, became the oldest person to ever complete the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge – a solo sail across the Atlantic Ocean, raising well in excess of £1 million.  And he did it all over again in February 2024!

Frank will join us with his trike, for awards, a raffle, games, hot food and drink, and other fun shenanigans! Don’t miss it!

APRIL 2024 – Classic Car Tuning Day in aid of Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, Oldham
